Tampa Bay Harley-Davidson® - Test ride the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Sportster® S near Lakeland FL
Harley-Davidson® customers in and near Lakeland can now see the new 2023 Harley-Davidson® Sportster® S in our showroom as soon as today, and we’re now scheduling test rides, which you can do online through our website or by phone during our standard store hours. The Sportster® S is a relatively new model introduced last year alongside the Nightster® with the new Sport family. It’s been described as a Sportster® had it been first designed in the 2020s rather than back in the 1950s. Not many changes for 2023 outside of the color selection. There are some small refinements here and there, but the big focus for the Sport in 2023 was the introduction of the new Nightster® Special.
All Sportster® S models have a modern black finish with some aluminum accents along the exhaust. This is paired with the Vivid Black paint for the default appearance included in the MSRP. There are also premium options that require a small additional fee. Those include White Sand Pearl, which is carried over from the inaugural model year. The new options are Gray Haze and Bright Billiard Blue. Mineral Green Metallic, which was offered last year, is no longer available. There is also excellent support for the Sportster® S in the H-D® catalog, and we can install these upgrades and accessories for you at the time of purchase or down the road.
The Sportster® S supports ride modes. This was such a popular feature that’s one of the impetuses behind the design of the Nightster® Special, which has them as well. There are three preprogrammed modes—Road, Sport and Rain—that shape power delivery, engine braking, cornering-enhanced ABS, cornering-enhanced TCS and other aspects of turning. Better yet, you can activate these ride modes on the fly and as needed. There are also two custom modes that allow for precise tuning of engine map, throttle response, traction control and so forth. All of this is accessed through the small onboard TFT screen, but you can connect your phone or other device through Bluetooth for greater control.
